The power source is a three phase DC Inverter with solid state control and is combined with a high frequency arc starting device to initiate welding current and shielding gas flow. A control circuit that is adjustable at the operator station is provided to control the above components. A digital display delivers welding current amp and arc volts as long as the arc is on. Separate controls are provided for weld sequence start, initial current, up-slope time and weld current.
