The seam guide is designed to accommodate dedicated round or shaped tooling. It is located on its own subplate. The location of the unit can be located up and down stream of the weld box depending on the size being produced.  The upper seam guide is also dedicated and independently adjusted with an acme screw. The side rolls are adjustable as a unit and can also be adjusted to the center line of the mill. All spindles and seam guides are insulated to prevent heating from the welder. Bearings are incorporated in the design of the spindles so that tooling is bearing free. A dead spindle is optional. The overall design is very robust to accommodate material thickness from 0.045” - 0.250”. The size range is from  3.150” – 7.000” round.
