Each gearbox section will have a separately mounted oil supply and oil return manifold assembly. Oil supply manifolds supply oil to each gearbox through independent lines equipped with individual sight and flow control valves. Oil return manifolds are piped to individual gearboxes with large return lines. All manifolds are mounted, piped, and shipped on their respective gearbox bases.
The oil recirculation system is a low pressure supply and gravity return type. Each gearbox section will have a separate pump and reservoir assembly. This assembly consists of a low pressure pump direct coupled to an A.C. motor and along with a multipass water/oil heat exchanger, temperature controlled water valve, full flow pressure relief valve, and pressure gage, are piped on the reservoir.
All piping required to circulate the gearbox oil to gearbox inlet manifolds and from return manifolds to reservoirs will be supplied. Water piping required for heat exchanger will be provided by customer.
OPTION: (Cold Weather)
Thermostatically controlled immersion heaters and contactors may be added to reservoir units.
