Each roll shaft has double Timken bearings in the inboard and outboard supports with double output worm gear reducers. Options include: Quick change rafted sub plates with spline universal couplings, digital single point micrometer top shaft adjustment, AC Servo Drive for feed to stop applications, AC variable speed for inverted type drive controls, AC variable speed with vector type drive controls, DC variable speed drive.

T&H Lemont also offers an innovative ultra fast change over utilizing the DP or TP series Roll Formers which can mount up to four sets of roller dies on one machine. Change over can be as quick as it takes to put on a new coil of material. For panel forming, the DH series offers the ability to roll form two edges with an option for four edges in any combination within minutes.

Model RU Universal Roll Forming Machine

A high speed, high quality machine driven to perfection by worm gear speed reducers through universal drive couplings. Capable of speeds up to 600 rpm, this is the ideal machine for the high production manufacturer of roll formed profiles, tubular shapes, metal building roofs, sidewall panels, and other similar products.


The best in the business, the model RU is a high production roll former which is ideal for use in the production of roll-formed welded tubular shapes, metal building roofs, sidewall panels, and similar applications.

Model DH Duplex Roll Forming Machine

 Designed specifically for panel type profiles where the forming is along longitudinal edges, the Model DH features two separate roll forming heads, one stationary and one which moves in and out. This feature allows exceptionally rapid adjustment for panels with different finished widths. Or the machine can be supplied with two rotating heads for the production of different profiles on the same machine. It is the ideal roll former for manufacturers of door panels, garage door panels, appliance housings, office equipment components and shelving.

 

Designed for panel type profiles where forming is on the longitudinal edges, as in door panels, appliance housings and office equipment components, the Model DH can be adjusted exceptionally fast to economically accommodate varying finished widths.

Model DP Roll Forming Machine

An economical machine where the inboard roll tooling is not frequently changed. It has one profile mounted in the inboard roll position and one or two profiles mounted in the outboard roll position.
An economical roll forming machine for mid-to-lower production requirements. The Model DP requires very little operator involvement. This is an easily maintained, exceptionally dependable roll forming machine that belongs in every plant.

Models RA and RU are high production type machines featuring Timken type bearings, adjustable vertical centers and high speed drives up to 600 fpm. 

Model DH is a dual head machine with precision bearings on positive shoulder roll shafts, fixed vertical centers and spring loaded upper roll shafts.

Model DP and TP are plate type machines with fixed vertical centers on spring loaded pillow blocks and used for medium production requirements and captive profiles.

FORM MACHINES

Forming and bending machines designed in a variety of configurations to accommodate a wide range of part size and material thickness.

  • Form Fixtures -- Single purpose machines designed for a specific part size, for higher output applications.

  • Dual Head Formers -- Two forming units, one fixed and one adjustable. Usually designed to form a family or group of related parts. Dual Head Formers lend themselves to many parts, such as panel designs, "U" shape parts, and complete wrap-around configurations. Available in a wide range of size and material capabilities.

  • CNC Dual Head Formers -- Programmable positioning of one or both forming units with a servo controlled positioning mechanism for multiple bend cycles.

  • Line Benders -- An alternative to roll forming on long in-line, panel type parts. A dual head fold action bender designed for pass-thru operation.

  • CNC Line Benders -- Programmable positioning of one or both forming units with a servo controlled positioning mechanism for multiple bend cycles.

  • Sequence Formers -- Three or more adjustable forming units to perform multiple bends automatically to form a part in a single machine cycle. Can be tooled for 90° single or multiple bends, with sharp or radius bending.

  • Four Post Formers -- Fixed center between bends with up to 96" bend length. Suitable for in-line or lead/trail applications.

  • Clam Shell Formers -- Single side bender used in pairs to bend the ends of long panels in lead/trail applications.

  • CNC Versa-Form -- Single axis servo positioner for multiple bends in small box section sizes.

 

PRESS SYSTEMS

Gang Punch or "C" frame systems primarily used for peripheral punching and notching.
Bridge or press units are utilized for mid-sheet holes and large die-cut areas.
